British Columbia gets hit with major storm

411 information online has just learned that Vancouver, B.C may be getting what could be a record breaking snowstorm. Areas with higher elevations may see an accumulation of up to half a metre of snow. In the lower parts of the region there is 20 to 30 cm of snowfall still expected. What's worth mentioning is the possibility of wind gusts to reach up to 100 km/h in some places. Adding those two things together makes for possible blizzard like conditions.
